A Sprinkling of Magic
Stories have been used for millennia to motivate, inspire action and influence new behaviours. Developing storytelling skills should be a cornerstone leadership skill yet many people don’t know where to start.
Ask yourself:-
- How can I effectively convey what I want to say so that everyone understands the meaning in my message?
- How can I develop my skills and confidence in storytelling so that my audience listens attentively and ‘gets it’?
- How can I use stories to address challenging and difficult topics, sometimes too hard to talk about directly?
- How can I boost my confidence and skills in designing, constructing and telling great stories and metaphors?
‘A Sprinkling of Magic’ is a metaphor for leaving people feeling inspired, empowered and ‘touched by magic’ through the power of story and metaphor.
This practical workbook is jam-packed with tips, strategies and insights to help you use stories to bring your communication to life and inform, influence and inspire for good

101 Inspiring Quotes for Business and Life
A quotation is like a mini power-packed story. It can be the magic ingredient in the recipe that brings out all the flavours of the metaphorical dish. If you want to credibly support your theory, then to do so with a powerful quote sets the scene perfectly.
101 Inspiring Quotes for Business comes from my personal collection of favourites. I have heard these quotes in workshops, speeches, in the media; I have read them in books or heard them being shared by family and friends. Every single quote in this list has, in some way, inspired me to take action or behave in a more effective way.
To add extra credibility, learn a little about the author of the quote, always attribute the author (unless it’s anonymous or unknown) and make sure that you have the original! I have seen some great philosopher’s quotes being falsely attributed to politicians and even celebrities!
When you’re looking for quick inspiration or the words of wisdom of someone who has gone before you, to inspire, inform or provoke thinking, this is the perfect resource for you.
